Want to make extra money by hosting your space in Basiyo? Here is the good news. Baisyo makes renting effortless. This article will guide you on how to list your homestay, lodge, resort, private room, or outdoor space in Basiyo.

Currently, this feature is available only on the Basiyo website. Visit www.basiyo.com and click the Register Property button on the top right corner. If you have not already created an account in Basiyo, this will prompt you to sign up. Once you create your account, follow the instructions to add property.

Listing property in Basiyo is a three-step process. First, you will add information about your property, like name, property type, address, house rules, and photos. In the second step, add one or more units to your property. Units are the bookable elements that guests can book, whether those are rooms or a suite of rooms in a hotel/lodge, rooms in a homestay, flats/apartments in a private house, or a tent in outdoor camps. In each unit, you can specify no. of beds, occupancy, amenities, type of rooms, and price per night, and add photos that best describe the ambiance of your units.

After you publish your property and units, it will be available inside the unpublished tab in the website's profile -> property by default. During this time, the Basiyo team will verify if the property is legitimate. We may call the host directly or the government authority where the property is registered. It may take 24 hrs up to 72 hours to get verified. Once verified successfully, the property will appear in the published tab on the website's profile -> property and will be available for guest booking.

Concurrently, a few more steps exist to fine-tune your property listing.

Update your cancellation policy: You should specify the cancellation policy in the property settings. You can click your property and edit your cancellation policy. You can add several rules for the cancellation policy.

Update your house rules: If you previously set house rules, that information will be preserved. However, if you want to add more rules for your property, you can do so by updating them again.

List/Unlist Property: If you are not yet ready to host, you can unlist your property by going to the status management section of the property detail.
