I stayed here for a day both before and after my 4-day trek in July 2025. My experience here both times was great. Before, I was given a room with a fan, air conditioning, a nice bed, and a nice view. Also, the hotel stored my luggage for no charge over the duration of my trek, and with no expectation that I book another night. I left at 4:30 AM, and they locked my luggage up for me. After, I stayed for one more night. I was given the same room. I enjoyed my stay here. The bed is quite firm, and the shower head needs to be replaced, but the room is cold enough with the air conditioning and the fan to sleep well. Also, the location is perfect for exploring the Lakeside neighborhood and the lake. Last, I had lunch here for a reasonable price, and I booked a taxi to the airport through the front desk, and they charged me a reasonable 1,000 rupees. And I didn’t have to negotiate with a taxi driver.
