My stay at the garden house hotel was wonderful. It's perfectly located, next to Thamel but far from its hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean and bright with a lovely ambiance. The breakfast is good and offers a simple yet satisfying selection. The owner is very kind and helpful. He helped me find simple and good Indian restaurant next to the hotel, and we even went for a nighttime stroll together, exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel – it was really nice. The hotel team is very welcoming and friendly. As a frequent traveler who's been to Kathmandu a few times, I can say that I rarely feel so at home somewhere. You feel right at home here, and it's excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic stay in Kathmandu.
