I spent three absolutely wonderful days at the Mita Hotel. Far from impersonal 4–5 star hotels, endless “please sir” moments, and standardized service, here you’ll find hosts with their hearts truly in the right place. They genuinely go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. The place itself is simply magical, with a breathtaking view. There’s no TV in the rooms, and honestly, you won’t miss it. Just open the curtains and take in the landscape. The room is cosy and warm, with everything you need and nothing unnecessary. And if you happen to need anything at all, you can be sure your wonderful hosts will always find a solution. Breakfast is more than generous, made with local, homemade products, prepared with care and love. Dinner is a moment of pure joy. An absolutely delicious meal, paired with a glass of local wine. It was quite simply the best meal I had during my entire stay here, even though I spent two weeks in the region. On top of that, your hosts will share all the best local tips, hidden gems, and things to discover around the area. 👉 Little tip: the ginger tea is an absolute gem, a must-try. To sum it up, booking a stay at the Mita Hotel isn’t about choosing luxury in the traditional sense. It’s about living the most meaningful hotel experience I’ve ever had, not because of material comfort, but because of the human warmth, authenticity, and genuine care behind it.
