Suryachaur is one of the best places i visited near Kathmandu .I visited the place with my friends and it was just 40 minutes ride from Kathmandu. Although it was a short ride, we felt as if we were far from the city because the green valleys and mountain views were stunning. The resort, Suryachaur Nature Retreat is also very nice .The rooms were very clean and cozy .The restaurant area was my favorite as we could enjoy our food witnessing the mountain ranges side by side. The staffs are also very friendly and the price is also perfect for what you get. So if you planning for a short trip or overnight stay with mountain views, sunrise/sunset views, waterfalls then i would recommend this place.
