We had an amazing stay at Hotel Tamu Ilam! This family-run establishment truly exceeded our expectations. The management, led by Mr. Arpan, is outstanding—he was attentive, professional, and ensured everything ran smoothly during our visit. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors that made every meal memorable. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, providing us with a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, close to key attractions, yet peaceful enough for relaxation. Parking was hassle-free and convenient, which was a big plus. Overall, it’s a wonderful place that feels like home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ilam!

At first glance, I didn’t expect much from the hotel—it seemed simple, and I just needed a place to stay for the night. However, the hospitality completely surprised me. The staff was incredibly humble and welcoming, and the service was excellent. The hotel has two blocks, and I stayed in the one at the back. The rooms were affordable, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony that offers a lovely view of the sunrise. A larger mirror in the room would have been nice, though. The food was decent—not exceptional, but still good. Finding the location was a bit confusing, but if you follow the map or call the hotel, they will gladly guide you.
