I had a wonderful stay at Pema guesthouse. The host is really friendly, funny and an amazing cook. Her husband is a great guide who can take you on different hikes. I did the langtang track and it was amazing. Dawa took care of the whole trip, to get there by car, to stay at the hotels plus food and a safe journey in general. Everything is possible. After the track I stayed at the guesthouse to volunteer for a week, which was a great experience to learn about the culture and everyday living of the Nepali people. I can definetly recommend starting your hiking journey here!

We had a wonderful time at Pema Guest house. It was our starting point for the Langtang Trek and I could not wish for a better start. The place is peaceful with an astonishing view and the hospitality of Dawa and Nema is beyond boundaries. Dawa was our guide for the Langtang Trek and we were in luck that Nema could join. Together we had a lovely week. Dawa arranged everything for us (transport, guesthouses, meals, permits etc). We already met in Kathmandu and he helped us to buy the right clothes for the trekking. During the Trek, Dawa could tell us all about the region he grew up in. He also guides at other treks in Nepal. I highly recommend Dawa as a guide and Pema guesthouse is a must visit! We will come back for the Tamang heritage trail!

Je suis arrivée ici le 24 décembre avec mon guide Anil. Nous avons été très bien accueillis, les hôtes sont chaleureux, les chambres ont de superbes vues sur les montagnes, on peut profiter d’une bonne douche chaude et la nourriture y était excellente! Mais ce qui restera dans ma mémoire pour toujours, c’est le poulet qu’ils ont tué et apprêté spécialement pour nous, pour souligner le réveillons de Noël. De très beaux moments partager autour d’un bon repas et de quelques verres de Rakssi, l’alcool traditionnel local. Merci pour tout!!
