We had a wonderful, memorable 2-nights stay at this resort! The highlight was definitely the spacious, clean room with its breathtaking private patio view overlooking the Rapti River. Having our own pool was an absolute luxury and made the stay extra special; we booked the Villa with private pool. The location, while quite a distance from the main city, offered the perfect peaceful escape we were looking for; total tranquility. The staff were exceptional; incredibly friendly and accommodating, handling all our requests promptly and without hesitation. They truly made it one of our best vacation memories. And a special compliment to the Chef! Even though the restaurant menu was somewhat limited depending on daily availability, the food we did have was truly great; fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Two small drawbacks: Firstly, there was no hot water available during our stay (though it was summer, so lukewarm/cold was mostly manageable). Secondly, the restaurant menu felt quite limited and seemed to depend heavily on what ingredients were available that day, which sometimes restricted choices. Overall, we highly recommend this resort (specifically the Villa) if you prioritize a quiet, scenic location, spacious clean rooms, private pools, and excellent service over being close to the city. We'd happily return!
