I stayed at Hotel Kunja in Pokhara Lakeside for one night with my partner, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Having stayed here five months ago when the customer service was excellent, I was shocked by how much it has declined. From the start, the reception staff lacked basic speaking manners, making check-in an unpleasant experience. The blanket in our room was dirty, and to make matters worse, we were constantly disturbed by other guests trying to unlock our door. While this may have been a mistake on their part, it also reflects poor management and security on the hotel’s side. Overall, the service was subpar, and the stay was uncomfortable. Definitely not the experience I expected, given how good it used to be. Wouldn’t recommend unless improvements are made.
