This resort has everything a nature lover would want...it is located along the river and right across from the Chitwan National Park. I would rate this as one of the best (and unexpected) experiences in Nepal. The theme is definitely a jungle lodge with bungalows strewn all along the river. The decor is rustic but whimsical. Even the bathroom and shower were cute and unusual. There are plenty of nice outdoor seating around the pool and along the river. There are many activities, with the main one being a safari in an open 4-wheeler. We saw monkeys, rhinos, deer, elephants and...unexpectedly, a wild tiger! There are shows every night with indigenous dancers. There is a tour to a local village. The boat ride with champagne at sunset was excellent. I would definitely book a candlelight dinner along the river.
