Does Basiyo cover damages on the property caused by the guest?

No, at this time, we do not offer damage coverage. The host is responsible for the safety and damage. However, the host can request a deposit from the guest during check-in to help cover any potential damage a guest might cause. If you are taking a deposit, make sure to mention it in house rule or property descriptions. Additionally, this can ensure that guests will treat your property respectfully.
